China Mist Tea Company Expands Retail Line, Includes Green, Organic Iced Teas
 
SCOTTSDALE, AZ  – November 9, 2006 – China Mist Tea Company introduces three new iced tea flavors for retail use.

Organic Estate Black, Organic Jasmine Peach Green and Natural Green Iced Teas have proven so popular by guests in the foodservice sector, that China Mist Tea Company expanded these tea blends to a retail line for home-use.

“I love the China Mist Organic Jasmine Peach Iced Tea,” said long-time China Mist fan  Christina Kennedy of Surprise, Arizona.  “I kept calling and emailing China Mist asking for the tea, so that I could make at home.  I guess I wasn’t the only one asking about it, since they’re going to sell it to everyone now.”

Natural is a green iced tea with layers of lemongrass while Organic Jasmine Peach iced tea is made of organic jasmine tea with a hint of peach.  Organic Estate Black is made from high-altitude grown organic black tea with a natural sweetness.

 “We’ve been selling some of our teas in a retail line for six years now,” said China Mist Tea Company President Rommie Flammer.  “As organic teas and green teas are becoming more popular, and the health benefits have become common knowledge, we’ve had more of our customers asking for the product to make at home.  Now is the right time for us to expand our retail line, and please our valued customers.”

China Mist Tea Company was co-created by John Martinson and Dan Schweiker in 1982 with delicious iced teas blended for the foodservice industry.  Years later, the hot tea brand, Leaves Pure Teas, was acquired.
