China Mist Tea Company is 76% STI Tea Certified
China Mist Tea Company Sponsors STI Tea Certification, Level I &
II for its Employees
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – November 9, 2006 – China Mist Tea Company
announces that 76% of its company, including office personnel and
distributors, has become Specialty Tea Institute (STI) Tea
Certified in Levels One & Two.
China Mist Tea Company conducted four seminars across the United
States for its distributors, sales and support staff. The
attendees were treated to two full days of tea education followed
by a certification exam at the end of each day. Students were
taught proper steeping techniques, how to taste teas, the
differences in the types teas and how to apply this knowledge when
selling China Mist Tea Company products.

“STI has set the standard for
certifying tea knowledge,” said China Mist Tea Company President
and COO Rommie Flammer. “China Mist is pleased to pull our Tea
Company together to become Level II Certified and share the
industry knowledge with our customers and other people in the
industry. It was a wonderful experience for all of us, even people
who’ve been in this business for nearly 20 years.”
China Mist Tea Company was co-created by John Martinson and Dan
Schweiker in 1982 with delicious iced teas blended for the
foodservice industry. Years later, the hot tea brand, Leaves Pure
Teas, was acquired along with Tea Smith and Founder of Leaves Pure
Teas Richard Guzauskas.

Mokarabia Real Italian Coffee. China Mist Teas and Mokarabia Real
Italian Coffees are distributed internationally and available for
retail sale through chinamist.com.
