How do I prepare the loose leaf black currant iced tea I’ve tried everything and I’m just not having any luck.
Desiree Whitten says:
For the loose-leaf teas, you will want to have cheesecloth, or a strainer available to use. Heat 1.5 quarts of water to a slow boil; remove water from the heat and place one packet of tea leaves in the water. Allow it to steep for 6-9 minutes. Remove the tea leaves, then add 1.5 quarts of cool water.
You can adjust the amount of water used for a stronger or weaker taste.
If the tea has a slightly acidic/bitter taste – reduce your steeping time.
